Time Capsule

On Tuesday, August 28, 5:30-6:30 p.m Hidden Valley Lake Community Services District will reveal a 25-year time capsule recently exhumed from under the dedication pedestal in front of the HVLCSD Administration Office Building.

The time capsule was buried by the HVLCSD Board of Directors and staff in 1993 when the Administration Office Building was first built and opened.  They captured memories, tokens, predictions for the future, and much more.

Hidden Valley Lake Community Services District is inviting all constituents and those who contributed to the original time capsule to take part in this historic ceremony, as their contributions are unveiled and presented to the community.

This is a unique opportunity for us to celebrate and reflect on our incredible history and bring together those who laid the foundation for the HVLCSD we know today. We’re excited to share the contents of this time capsule in its twenty-fifth year and invite all of those who’ve been part of HVLCSD’s journey to join us.

The District will continue the tradition and take the opportunity to bury a new time capsule that captures HVLCSD in present day and a vision for its future. Current Members of the Board and Staff will be contributing items for the new time capsule.

The Hidden Valley Lake Community Services District Administration Office Building is located at 19400 Hartmann Road. The event will run from 5:30-6:30 p.m. beginning with a ceremony in front of the Administration Office.

The event is open to all community members.
