The Legend of the Water Dance

By means of whimsical illustrations and an ethereal tale of a woman, The Legend of the Water Dance takes students through a captivating explanation of the water cycle. The story begins with the creation of Earth itself and the first rain, out of which emerged a woman made of water. She danced through the sky until the warmth of the sun caused her to evaporate into a gas and condense into a cloud. Not long after, she rained back down to the Earth. This became her dance, cycling through the different forms of water until land, plants, and animals began forming on the Earth. Soon the woman of water found her place on Earth where she quietly continues to dance.
