Hidden Valley Lake CSD is  seeking applicants for an Operator in Training (OIT). 

Full-Time  $19.10-$23.46 

Hidden Valley Lake CSD  offers a complete benefits package to full-time employees including health care, dental, vision, retirement, deferred compensation plan, life and AD&D insurance, holidays, vacation, and sick leave.

This is the entry-level non-certified class in the Utility Operator series.  Receives general supervision from the Utility Supervisor.  Performs a variety of skilled and unskilled duties pertaining to the construction, repair and maintenance of water distribution and sanitary sewer collection systems; maintains District facilities; installs, maintains, and repairs water service lines and meters under the guidance of a certified Water Operator; operates a variety of light and moderately heavy equipment.

Must be able to respond to after-hours emergencies within 30 minutes.

The Hidden Valley Lake Community Services District is an independent special district serving the Hidden Valley Lake Community in southern Lake County, California.  The District, which consists of 16 full-time employees, provides municipal water to over 2,500 homes and 5 distinct businesses, and sewer services to nearly 1,500 within its three-square-mile service area.
