October 5, 2020: Lake County Public Health

Lake County, CA (October 5, 2020) — This afternoon, we learned Lake County will not move to the Purple Tier tomorrow, as had been expected.  The formula used to determine tier placement for counties with populations less than 100,000 is being altered, and the new calculation will allow us to stay in the Red Tier, so no changes are required for local businesses or activities. More information can be found here.

You may receive information via social media of Covid19 detections in treated wastewater. Hidden Valley Lake Community Services District wants you to know that we are taking every precaution to maintain our level of water and wastewater services to our community. Our commitment to providing safe drinking water and effective treatment of wastewater is being fully upheld during these uncertain times, and we are in complete compliance with the Governors Executive Orders, as well as State and County Public Health Officers.
