Proposed Declaration of Water Shortage Emergency and Adoption of a Drought Contingency Plan, including Drought Rates for Water Service

This meeting and public hearing will be held virtually.
The Board of Directors will hold a Public Hearing to consider adoption of a resolution declaring a Water Shortage Emergency due to drought conditions and adopting a Drought Contingency Plan (Plan). The Plan will provide for multiple drought stages and will provide for water use reductions (both voluntary and mandatory), required conservation measures, and will authorize the General Manager to implement drought water rates as provided for in the Plan and as approved and adopted by the District in its 2020 Water Rate Report.
